Full Job Description
Role Purpose

The Principal, Technology Sales is a senior sales leadership role responsible for penetrating and growing key strategic customers with comprehensive CRE technology solutions and large-scale outsourced operations. This position will develop and execute strategic sales plans to promote sales growth for JLL's Technology products and services, targeting C-suite executives of Fortune 500 companies. The role requires the ability to articulate and demonstrate how JLL can revolutionize the management of their CRE portfolio through utilization of JLL's technology platform and outsourcing team.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of closing complex, multi-million dollar deals that scale over time. They must possess the gravitas and expertise to engage with C-level decision-makers, presenting JLL's capabilities as a transformative solution for their CRE needs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develops and executes strategic sales plans for key strategic customers, focusing on large-scale CRE technology solutions and outsourced operations.


  • Builds and maintains relationships with C-suite executives in Fortune 500 companies to drive high-value sales opportunities.


  • Collaborates with internal teams to develop tailored, comprehensive solutions for complex client needs.


  • Leads high-stakes client pitches and presentations to C-level executives, articulating the transformative potential of JLL's offerings.


  • Negotiates and closes major, multi-million-dollar deals within approved limits.


  • Analyzes market trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies for large-scale technology deployment and outsourcing opportunities.


  • Partners with Marketing and Business Development teams to create effective sales materials and strategies targeted at C-suite decision-makers.


  • Achieve and exceed individual annual sales booking quotas while meeting target margins.


  • Develop and maintain accurate Account Plans and Share of Wallet data in Account Planning Systems, inputting opportunities into early-stage pipeline in Salesforce and maintaining opportunities in Salesforce throughout the sales cycle.


  • Build strong relationships with prospective client contacts across CRE, IT and other department contacts to introduce products and solutions.


  • Lead a client pursuit team to develop, sell and contract JLLT products and solutions to meet the client's requirements. Lead the contract negotiation with support from JLL Legal team to maximize profitability and appropriately manage risk to the firm.


  • Collaborate with additional Markets, Capital Markets, JLL Technologies and Work Dynamics team members to deliver the full value of OneJLL.


The Candidate Experience

  • 10+ years of sales leadership experience in CRE technology, PropTech, or related fields, with a focus on large-scale outsourcing deals.


  • Proven track record of closing complex, multi-million dollar deals with Fortune 500 companies, demonstrating the ability to scale accounts over time.


  • Extensive network of C-suite contacts in target industries, with a history of successful C-level engagements.


  • Deep understanding of CRE technologies, PropTech, IWMS, Smart Buildings, and IoT, and their potential to transform large-scale real estate operations.


  • Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to develop and execute long-term sales plans for complex, high-value accounts.


  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex solutions to C-suite audiences and diverse stakeholders.


  • Proficiency in CRM systems, sales analytics tools, and Microsoft Office Suite


  • Experience with successful selling outcomes using structured sales processes and tools such as Miller Heiman and Salesforce.

Estimated compensation for this position:

254,400.00 - 300,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
