THE POSITION

As a Principal Integrated Supply Chain Project Manager - S/4 Repair & Overhaul here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing transformation initiatives across our maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) value stream. Drawing on your experience in aerospace aftermarket and service operations, you will lead highly complex projects that strengthen repair and overhaul execution, improve service levels, and align operational outcomes with business objectives and enterprise strategy.

The Principal ISC Project Manager serves as the business owner for solutions across the end-to-end repair and overhaul process, defining transformation priorities, representing business needs, and driving alignment between operations, supply chain, engineering, quality, and design during the SAP S/4 program.

Your expertise will extend to mentoring cross-functional teams through complex MRO transformation efforts, including repair planning, material availability, shop floor execution, turnaround time improvement, and regulatory compliance. Beyond execution, your impact will be felt in the development and implementation of advanced project management methodologies, tools, and best practices that elevate service delivery and operational performance. You will identify and prioritize transformation opportunities, define scope, and establish clear goals and deliverables by collaborating closely with stakeholders across supply chain, repair operations, engineering, quality, and customer support. Your responsibility extends to monitoring project progress, implementing proactive risk mitigation strategies, and providing regular, insightful updates to senior leadership on project status, risks, dependencies, and opportunities. With strong knowledge of MRO processes, leadership, and communication skills, you will be a key driver of success in our dynamic and global organization.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Contribute to decisions by providing insights into tradeoffs, risks, and target outcomes across MRO process areas, including repair execution, material flow, service levels, and turnaround time.
  • Clarify the level of process change and standardization the business is prepared to undertake across repair and overhaul operations, including shop processes, service planning, and network execution.
  • Identify core business requirements and capabilities for repair and overhaul operations, including traceability, configuration control, quality requirements, and critical compliance frameworks.
  • Partner with IT and industry application consultants to define the high-level process scope and transformation ambition for MRO, depot repair, and overhaul workflows in SAP S/4.
  • Identify key stakeholders, dependencies, and integration points across repair operations, supply chain, engineering, quality, procurement, logistics, and customer support.
  • Support the Business Program Leader in aligning leadership around the MRO transformation direction, service operating model, and target business outcomes.
  • Support establishment of additional business roles, including future process owners, MRO subject matter experts, and change champions across repair sites and service operations.
  • Lead and manage cross-functional teams to deliver MRO and repair/overhaul transformation projects on time and within budget.
  • Develop and execute project plans covering scope, schedule, budget, resources, and business readiness for MRO process deployment and stabilization.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues related to service continuity, repair turnaround, parts availability, compliance, and operational readiness.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders on milestones, risks, issue resolution, and operational impact across repair and overhaul processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize repair cycle time, service productivity, asset availability, and overall operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across operations, engineering, supply chain, quality, and customer-facing teams to ensure successful MRO project delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with project management methodologies, repair governance standards, and applicable regulatory and quality requirements within the MRO environment.


Qualifications

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENT

Due to US export control laws, candidates must be U.S. citizen, perm resident, protected status under asylum/refugee, OR can obtain export approval.

YOU MUST HAVE
  • 6+ years of experience in supply chain, service operations, or project management, with a strong record of leading complex maintenance, repair, and overhaul transformation initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of repair and overhaul business processes, including service planning, work scoping, material flow, execution, and regional or business-specific operating requirements.
  • Expert knowledge of MRO and supply chain processes, spanning procurement, repair planning, shop operations, logistics, quality, and customer fulfillment.
  • Proven experience leading complex MRO, repair, overhaul, or aftermarket service projects, including project planning, execution, monitoring, and cross-functional deployment in an SAP-enabled environment.
  • Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.

  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and global team environment, fostering collaboration and synergy across diverse teams.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities in a dynamic, regulated, and operationally complex MRO environment. PMP certification preferred.
  • Ability to drive change and inspire teams toward common objectives.
  • Proactive approach to identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes.

  • Proven ability to solve complex problems related to repair operations, service supply chain performance, and overhaul program execution.
