Job DescriptionOverviewOur Geotechnical Team in Ontario is expanding and we are now looking for an experienced Principal Geotechnical Engineer to join our team. This position is located in Etobicoke and/or Vaughan, Ontario but we would consider applicants in the greater Toronto area as well that have good geotechnical skills from projects such as transportation, tunnels, highways, rail, municipal roads and bridges.

Your role- Work closely with a variety of AtkinsRéalis professionals in multiple sectors such as transportation, tunnel, rail & transit, energy, cities and developments as well as industrial.
- Participate on multi-disciplinary teams and projects and will be expected to collaborate on multidisciplinary projects of all scales.
- Execute major programs, supporting complex proposals, mentoring of junior staff, as well as act as technical reference.
- Develop and expand our infrastructure geotechnics capability by building on the existing portfolio of our rapidly expanding, flexible and outward looking team that can tackle work across a broad spectrum of sectors.
About you- Must have 8+ years of holding P.Eng. License and practicing in Ontario, and over 12+ year with strong Geotechnical Engineering experience.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships while identifying and pursuing business development and market growth opportunities.
- Proven senior experience in tunnels, highways, rail, municipal roads and bridges, with experience with the Ministry of Transportation in Ontario considered as a strong asset.
- Lead and manage geotechnical projects in accordance with approved scopes of work, budgets, schedules, reporting requirements, and client agreements.
- Proven geotechnical design experience, with excellent interpersonal and technical skills and the ability to support the development of teams.

Additional informationExpected compensation for this role is between $125,000 - $171,900 annually. Base salaries are determined according to several parameters like skills, experience, and potential impact on the role. Internal and external competitiveness are also taken into account in our offers.
