Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

  • Lead and develop a team of Product Definition and Power ApplicationEngineers with a strong focus on motor control solutions for powertools, appliances, drones, and robotics applications.
  • Drive and support the Product Line (PL) strategy to enable businessgrowth, strengthen market presence, and secure design wins in keyapplication segments related to motor control and BMS systems.
  • Act as the key interface between management and the engineering team,ensuring clear communication of objectives, priorities,responsibilities, and execution plans.
  • Lead and coordinate multi-regional teams across the USA (El Segundo)and China (Shenzhen), fostering strong collaboration, alignment, andknowledge sharing across locations and functions.
  • Represent the team and product line in customer engagements, technicalworkshops, industry events, and conferences, promoting our motor controlexpertise and solution portfolio.
  • Serve as the primary technical and strategic interface to key customersin the region, leading critical engagements and supporting businessdevelopment and design-in activities.
  • Define and drive a global lab support strategy, ensuring effectivecollaboration, technical support, and knowledge exchange across regionsto accelerate customer support and internal development.


Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

  • University degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or arelated field (M.Sc. or PhD preferred)
  • 8+ years of experience in power electronics, with at least 2 years ina leadership or senior technical role and solid expertise in motordrives topologies, power MOSFETs, and system-level power design
  • Strong understanding of motor control power architectures (e.g. powertools, appliances and robotic system)
  • Experience in product definition, application engineering, or systemarchitecture within the semiconductor industry
  • Hands-on experience in customer-facing roles
  • Exposure to cross-regional collaboration and global project execution
  • Ability to lead cross-regional teams and work effectively acrosscultures, including exposure to Asia markets
  • Willingness to travel across the US and Asia on a quarterly basis

The Wage range that the company expects to pay for a qualified candidate in the United States is:

El Segundo, CA Minimum of $158,200 salary per year / Maximum of $217,600 salary per year

In addition, all employees will be eligible to participate in an incentive plan.
