Overview

Job Purpose

The Principal Consultant, Technology Delivery, serves as the critical bridge between internal teams and client organizations, ensuring that technology solutions are delivered reliably, integrations operate seamlessly, and evolving strategies are anticipated and addressed.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of mortgage technology initiatives, including system implementations, upgrades, integrations, and digital transformation projects
  • Communicate ICE’s technology vision across cloud, SaaS, architecture, and modernization
  • Champion adoption of new technologies and enterprise architecture standards.
  • Lead audits, security assessments, questionnaire responses, and remediation planning
  • Oversee integrations between mortgage platforms and enterprise applications
  • Facilitate executive governance meetings, project status reporting, and stakeholder communications
  • Drive continuous improvement in delivery processes, release management, and operational efficiency
  • Partner with clients to develop data strategies that connect mortgage servicing operations to business outcomes, improving visibility, reducing risk, and enabling smarter decision-making
  • Translate complex data and integration concepts into clear, actionable business conversations for client leadership and internal stakeholders
  • Serve as a bridge between ICE’s data engineering, product, and client services teams to ensure client data and technology needs are understood, prioritized, and delivered
  • Provide strategic recommendations on best practices, regulatory considerations, and technology changes, positioning clients for long-term operational success
  • Consult directly with client executives and may travel to client sites to facilitate strategic discussions and drive project alignment
  • Manage stakeholder communications across multiple organizational levels, translating between executive strategy and technical implementation
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

 

Knowledge and Experience

  • Computer Science or Information Technology, or related bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience
  • Experience with APIs, microservices, SaaS platforms, AWS, Azure, SQL
  • Demonstrated ability to act as a trusted advisor to executive-level stakeholders
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business language
  • Excellent organization, prioritization, and project management skills
  • Strong ownership mindset with the ability to operate in high-pressure, client-driven environments
  • Exceptional customer service and relationship management skills that build high levels of trust and satisfaction with internal and external clients at all levels
  • Ability to travel up to 10%

 

Preferred Knowledge and Experience

  • Technical and Integration Skills
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript, Microsoft .NET, and web-based application architectures.
  • Cybersecurity frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI, NIST, FFIEC).
  • IAM/SSO (SAML, OAuth, OIDC), encryption, DevSecOps, API security, network/cloud security.
