Principal consultant

Responsible for leading Strategy Consulting engagements, including planning and organizing activities, industry & competitive analysis, solution development and team execution. Primary point of contact for clients, and responsible for all aspects & quality of deliverables. Role brings digital project & industry experience, and well-honed consulting, project management, and functional skills in the execution of the work.

Role Description

Conduct in-depth competitive research to monitor trends, offerings, and strategies of key players in the loyalty platform market.

Evaluate in-house developed cloud based POS system and associated technologies for high paced rollout to 800-1000 physical stores with multiple POS stations.

Develop a prioritized and accelerated plan to mitigate any critical gaps pre-rollout.

Develop a phased enhancement plan for post-rollout features.

Evaluate readiness of POS and technologies for in-store operations when connected and not connected to off premises systems.

Evaluate the staging, deployment and operations of POS and associated technologies to stores.

Structure and solve business & technical problems from beginning to end

Develop and deliver client presentations, including functional & technical content, recommendations & conclusions, program plans to implement and supporting business case justification

Maintain and expand client relationships through delivery of high-quality work

Able to recruit and develop supporting team, with experience coaching, developing and mentoring staff

Skills Required

8+ years of consulting or industry experience as team / project leader preferred

Retail and Retail store systems, specifically including Loyalty platforms, POS systems experience

Broad Digital Experience preferred, including UI/UX Design, Journey Mapping, Content Management, eCommerce, Marketing Automation, CRM, Service & API Development, Cloud

Deployments & Migrations and supporting technologies & tools

Compensation, Benefits and Duration

Minimum Compensation: USD 60,000
Maximum Compensation: USD 210,000
Compensation is based on actual experience and qualifications of the candidate. The above is a reasonable and a good faith estimate for the role.
Medical, vision, and dental benefits, 401k retirement plan, variable pay/incentives, paid time off, and paid holidays are available for full time employees.
This position is available for independent contractors
