Full Job Description
The Broadband Business Intelligence team supports business decision making through the delivery of key commercial and marketing performance insights to unravel the intricate problems that come with being a wireless ISP/Fiber provider.

The Principal Analyst, Business Intelligence is responsible for guiding the business through the analysis of advanced quantitative & qualitative data. This role requires the creation of customer-centric solutions/approaches driven by data analysis, business acumen, creativity, and effective communication. This position will lead the design and development of reporting structures and interfaces, as well as administration of standardized reports to be utilized cross-functionally. Present advanced business insights and findings in succinct and creative ways using data visualizations for a broad audience, including all levels of leadership, technology, business and finance.

This is a hybrid position required to be working in-office at least 3 days a week.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Support the business intelligence needs of the business by using data from various sources (e.g. AWS Redshift, Azure, Databricks). Guide data strategy across multiple touch points (e.g. new third party data acquisition and integration).
  • Engage early in enterprise projects to define reporting requirements and incorporate them into system design
  • Develop holistic dashboards combining diverse data sets for presentations to senior management
  • Drive core insights from data to create strategies that improve customer experience and business performance
  • Present analysis and strategic recommendations to senior management through verbal and written communication


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Expertise in technical tools (DataViz; SQL; automation; report/metric design; algorithms/modeling)
  • Expert analytical, problem solving and critical reasoning skills
  • Advanced communication/consulting, influencing and relationship management skills
  • Advanced functional knowledge (ie Telecom; Supply Chain; Network Technology; Procurement)


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in statistics, business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Master's/Advanced degree preferred.
  • 7 years of experience in advanced analytics including SQL/ETL of complex datasets, competitive analysis, quantitative analysis & research
  • 7 years of experience in reporting & analyzing performance & data visualization (Tableau; PowerBI)
  • 7 years of experience building reporting structures to support reporting and analytical projects
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States

Total Target Cash Earnings Opportunity: $134,880 - $243,240

National Base Pay Range: $112,400 - $202,700

The Total Target Cash Earnings Opportunity represents the expected total cash compensation for this role at target performance, combining base salary and annual incentive opportunity. Actual earnings may be higher or lower depending on individual performance and overall company results.

The candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.
