Principal Associate, Marketing - Event Content Manager (B2B)
Owns the development, coordination, and delivery of all content for B2B client events. The candidate works and partners closely with event planning, production, and external vendors to ensure content is high-quality, on-brand, and delivered efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Lead content development for client events (presentations, scripts, talking points, session flows)
Develop decks, scripts, speaker notes, and supporting assets
Translate event objectives into clear content plans and session outlines
Project manage content timelines, reviews, and approvals
Coordinate with internal SMEs, speakers, and executives
Manage vendors (agencies, designers, writers, AV partners)
Work with management and production teams on run-of-show planning and development, timing, and transitions
Coordinate closely with production, AV, and staging partners
Ensure speakers are prepared, briefed, and rehearsed
Troubleshoot content or delivery issues in real time
Ensure content is presentation-ready and production-optimized
Own content rehearsals, dry runs, and final readiness
Ensuring messaging aligns to business goals and audience needs
Maintain content standards and brand consistency
Ensure content supports sales, relationship-building, and thought leadership goals
Basic Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in Marketing
2+ years of experience in Event Content Management experience
B2B storytelling and executive-level presentation development
Strong project management and cross-functional coordination
Strong content creation, editing, marketing communications
Strong executive communication and content editing skills
Ability to manage complexity and deadlines
Comfort working live events and rehearsals
Experience working with production and AV teams
Vendor management

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
Houston, TX: $109,900 - $125,400 for Principal Associate, Marketing
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidates offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
