What you will be doing:You will be Business Owner leading a team within the Transport Infrastructure Engineering and Support (TIES) team responsible for developing engineering solutions which will positively impact efficiency and acceleration of the critical RAN wireless engineering and planning programs. This will give you the opportunity to work hand in hand with the RAN, Access Engineering and Operations teams, Information Technology, and other internal organizations leveraging agile methodologies to accomplish goals quickly. This position can be available in other valid Verizon locations.
Serving as Business Owner for process and system solutions for CND Core, INAM, ITOP, SiteBuilder, Network Discovery, TeSS, and QuickBid to support wireless engineering and planning teams.
Leading cross functional teams (engineering, IT, operations and other peer business units) in driving positive results for multiple activities related to strategic wireless network initiatives.
Leading the development and implementation of internal processes and standardization initiatives.
Leading OSS integration and process improvement and transformation, as well as provide subject matter expertise to define OSS strategy.
Providing support, direction, and documentation for the integration of company-wide, standard processes.
Providing technical solutions to engineering, including process and training documentation.
Providing training via different mediums to impacted organizations.
Developing network initiatives and leading projects to accelerate our scale to 5G/C-Band, AI and other strategic wireless initiatives.
Leveraging AI tools including Gemini, Gemini Enterprise, and Claude AI to innovate and develop intelligent solutions that address business needs, improve operational efficiency, and accelerate wireless engineering and planning workflows.
Coordinating and leading UAT testing efforts.

You’ll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Six or more years of relevant work experience.
Experience in one or more wireless/RAN network engineering disciplines including, but not limited to: RAN, Access, RF Planning and Design.
Experience with Engineering Inventory & Provisioning systems supporting wireless networks.
Knowledge of relational databases.
Experience in an Agile Environment with an understanding of roles.
Experience creating UAT test plans & scripts.
Experience creating process documentation and process flows.
Experience with Google Suite, Lucid or other business process mapping tools.
Experience leveraging AI tools (Gemini, Gemini Enterprise, Claude AI, or equivalent) to drive innovation, automate workflows, and build solutions for complex business problems.
Willingness to travel up to approximately 25% of the time.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
Experience in wireless telecom network engineering and/or an engineering support function.
Ten or more years of experience in RAN/Wireless Network Engineering, access/transport implementation/network creation, operations or planning.
PMP certification.
SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) certifications.
Ability to be a highly technical & strategic thought leader as well as a “hands on” implementer.
Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
Ability to coordinate multiple initiatives with competing objectives & priorities.
Ability to innovate & look for continued opportunities for process & system efficiencies.
Effectively communicate issues and resolutions to all levels of the organization.

The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
The annual salary range for the location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $107,000.00 - $205,000.00.
