Are you looking for an opportunity to set a new standard for Primary Care, one based on the quality of care, not the quantity of patient visits? Kinwell is hiring a Primary Care Physician to join our Denny clinic in Seattle, Washington. We bring agility to work every day and thrive on the opportunity to create something refreshing and new. This is where you come in. What you'll do:
  • Manage a panel of patients for a full spectrum primary care clinic, taking care of acute and chronic care needs.
  • Be curious in an effort to keep more care in primary care; solve problems, answer questions, and spend quality time in service of learning on behalf of your patients.
  • Develop a high functioning care team with the goal that every person works at the top of license and scope, developing teammate's work in alignment with interests, good of the community and licensure.
  • Provide patients and family members with counseling and education regarding health maintenance, disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and need for follow up as appropriate during each patient visit.
  • Collaborate with other Physicians, Specialists, Pharmacists, Nurses, and other healthcare professionals in person or by video in the best interest of patients.
  • Perform minor outpatient procedures in accordance with credentialing/privileging policy.
  • Complete timely and accurate documentation.
  • Provide after-hours care service support as part of the on-call program.
What you'll bring:
  • Currently licensed or able to be licensed in the state of Washington by hire date.
  • Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Med-Peds.
  • Unrestricted DEA, NPI, and prescriptive authority.
  • Ability to be credentialed under Medicare.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care strongly preferred at time of hire from American Heart Association (AHA), Red Cross, or Military Training Network (MTN) or willingness to obtain within 6-months of hire.
  • Proficient in use of the EMR, with Epic experience strongly preferred.
  • Excellent critical thinking, flexibility, problem solving and communication skills.
  • Interest in community outreach efforts (PR, ambassador to community partners, onboarding/mentoring for new teammates). (Preferred)
Working Environment This position operates in a clinic environment, providing both in person and telehealth care. Collaboration with various healthcare providers is routine, and participation in wellness programs may also be required. Physical Requirements Ability to work in a clinical environment, interact with patients for prolonged periods, and perform duties requiring a high level of concentration and emotional resilience. Vaccine Requirement: Kinwell Health currently requires all teammates to provide proof of or complete a written attestation of a religious or medical exemption for influenza and Hepatitis B vaccines. The pay for this role will vary based on a range of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's geographic location, market conditions, and specific skills and experience. National Plus Salary Range: $214,500.00 - $386,100.00 *National Plus salary range is used in higher cost of labor markets including Western Washington and Alaska.
