Job Description

What you will be doing:

The primary purpose of this position is to oversee all aspects of the operational success of the practices.

  • Evaluate and maintain positive a patient experience through feedback, training, and communication
  • Enhance operational effectiveness by emphasizing cost containment without jeopardizing important innovation or quality of care
  • Provide oversight and maintenance of corporate goals, operational and quality standards Partner with the director on the strategic planning and implementation of service line initiatives
  • Monitor staff performance and provide education, training, tools, and support necessary to perform duties
  • Focus on Physician and staff engagement to ensure a positive culture to deliver outstanding patient care
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies governing health care delivery and the rules of accrediting bodies
  • Continually monitor operations, programs, physical properties, and preventative maintenance schedules
  • Ensure the adequate execution of, and compliance with, established policies, procedures, and objectives
  • Review and analyze productivity using information extracted from the EMR system to evaluate efficient management of scheduling, access, and patient flow
  • Identify and execute the management of best practices for optimal effectiveness and efficiency
  • Collaborate with the Revenue Cycle Department as it relates to the billing and collection process
  • Collaborate with Human Resources as it relates to recruitment and selection, performance management, and employee relations
  • Deliver exemplary customer service to provide a positive patient experience across the organization Perform other duties assigned by management.


Education And Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience required
  • Three years of experience in a medical office management role required EMR experience required
  • Must function independently and have the ability to work effectively with patients, providers, staff, and other stakeholders
  • Must have personal integrity, be highly responsive, timely, and accurate with follow-up and follow-through.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to utilize computer programs; MS Suite experience preferred
  • Effective decision-making, problem solving, and project execution skills; ability to multi-task in a constantly changing environment
