The Practice Administrator serves as the operational leader for a portfolio of urgent care clinics. This newly created role is ideal for an experienced healthcare leader who thrives in dynamic environments and is passionate about developing teams, driving operational excellence, and enhancing both the team member and patient experience.

This leader will oversee the day-to-day operations, performance, and strategic priorities across multiple urgent care locations within an assigned territory. With significant autonomy and ownership, the Practice Administrator will be responsible for building strong clinic leadership, advancing key organizational initiatives, and ensuring high-quality care, service excellence, employee engagement, and operational performance. Success in this role requires a visible presence in the clinics, strong business and operational acumen, and the ability to lead effectively through change. This is a unique opportunity to help shape a new leadership structure, create lasting impact across multiple clinics, and play a key role in improving outcomes for patients, providers, and team members alike.

This role requires a strong onsite presence to support operations across the Indianapolis area. The Practice Administrator will regularly travel among the Downtown, Broad Ripple, Noblesville, and Muncie clinic locations, with onsite rounding expected at least weekly across the assigned sites. The successful candidate must be visible and accessible to clinic leaders, providers, and team members. Schedule flexibility is also important to support a seven-day urgent care operation, including occasional early-morning, evening, weekend, or holiday needs.

  • Strong knowledge of healthcare operations, care delivery models, financial management, regulatory requirements, and healthcare legislation.
  • Experience utilizing benchmarking data and industry best practices to drive operational improvement.
  • Proficient with healthcare technology systems and business applications.
  • Ability to occasionally lift, move, or carry objects up to 50 pounds as needed.
