Job DescriptionAssociate General CounselWe are seeking a seasoned, collaborative, and practical employment law attorney to join IU Health's legal team as a trusted advisor to Human Resources and business partners across the organization. This is a dedicated employment law counseling role. The majority of the work is advisory rather than litigation focused, providing day-to-day legal guidance on employee relations, ADA accommodations, disability and fitness-for-duty matters, absence management, wage and hour law, ERISA and benefits, immigration-related employment questions, and select HR-related contracting needs. The legal team operates with a close-knit, roundtable culture built on collaborative, knowledge-sharing, and mutual trust. A successful hire will integrate quickly, build strong relationships with HR Business Partners across the system, and become a reliable, independent source of employment law counsel that the organization genuinely depends on.
