As your initial project assignment, you will support the unique needs of our client as a Power Platform Solution Architect.
Project SummaryAIS is seeking a Power Platform Solution Architect to lead the solution architecture for modern Power Platform applications, workflows, and data solutions that replace legacy forms and streamline controlled business processes for a federal customer.
Key Responsibilities- Define solution architecture for Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, SharePoint, integrations, and application lifecycle management.
- Lead discovery and translate legacy forms, approval workflows, and external data-exchange requirements into a prioritized product backlog.
- Design environment strategy, DLP, security roles, connector governance, data models, and release-management practices.
- Set technical standards for reusable components, accessibility, error handling, auditability, and supportability.
- Lead design reviews with business owners, security stakeholders, platform engineers, and development teams.
- Plan the modernization path from SharePoint 2019 workflows and Captiva forms to supported cloud-native patterns.
Required For This Opportunity- 8+ years in application, workflow, or business-solution architecture, including 4+ years with Power Platform.
- Expertise with Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, SharePoint, Power Platform ALM, and DLP.
- Experience with complex workflow, approval, records, or regulated data-processing solutions.
- Ability to lead requirements workshops and turn business needs into practical architecture decisions.
- Strong written design documentation and customer-facing communication skills.
Nice to Have Skills- GCC High or government-tenant Power Platform experience.
- Power Platform Solution Architect certification.
- Experience modernizing legacy document workflows or key-punch applications.
At AIS, we are committed to offering competitive and fair compensation that reflects the skills, experience, and contributions of each team member.The targeted base salary range for this role is $117,000-$177,000 per year. Please note that this range is provided as a guideline and the final offer will be based on several factors, including but not limited to, skillset and competencies, level of experience, education, certifications, and location.We value transparency in our hiring process and are happy to discuss how your unique qualifications align with our compensation structure during the interview process.
