Position Description:

As a Power Platform Developer, you will be an integral part of our analytics team, driving the design, development, and deployment of solutions using Microsoft Power Platform that will have a global impact.
We are seeking a talented and proactive Power Platform Developer to create and maintain robust, low-code applications and workflows using Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate (formerly Flow), and Power BI. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and transform them into efficient and user-friendly solutions, empowering our organization to make data-driven decisions and optimize operations.

This position is located in our Fairfax, VA office with work performed at client site in Arlington, VA; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI and Power Virtual Agents.
• Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with business users to gather requirements and translate them into effective, scalable Power Platform solutions.
• Integration: Integrate Power Platform solutions with other enterprise applications, data sources, and systems such as SharePoint, Dynmics 365, SQL Server, and third-party APIs.
• Troubleshoot & Support: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues within Power Platform applications and workflows.
• Optimization: Ensure solutions are optimized for performance and security. Provide suggestions for improving existing processes and tools.
• Documentation & Training: Document processes, workflows, and technical specifications. Provide user training and support as needed.
• Stay Current: Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and features in the Power Platform ecosystem and related Microsoft technologies.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• Technical Skills:
o Proficiency in Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents.
o Strong knowledge of DAX, Power Query, and Common Data Service (Dataverse).
o Experience with integrating Power Platform solutions with SharePoint, Dynamics 365, SQL Server, and other external systems.
o Experience with Azure Functions, PowerShell, and REST APIs is a plus.
• Experience:
o 2+ years of experience working with Microsoft Power Platform.
o Experience in low-code/no-code development and business process automation.
o Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 suite and cloud solutions.
• Soft Skills:
o Excellent communication skills to interact with business stakeholders and technical teams.
o Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
o Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
o Strong time management and organizational skills.

Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:
• Microsoft certifications such as Power Platform Fundamentals, Power Apps + Power Automate, or Power BI are a plus. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $78,400.00 - $169,700.00.
