Position Overview:
The incumbent will analyze data, write manuscripts for publication, and design new studies and grant applications. Investigates pathways to establish an independent research program, including development and submission of a career development award. May also oversee operational aspects of projects including drafting of materials for submission to the Institutional Research Board (IRB) and assisting other investigators with grant applications. As part of the ongoing training, may also enroll in didactic classes on topics that align with research interests. The incumbent is expected to submit abstracts to and present at national meetings.

PhD in a field of study related to the mentor's research area
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
For laboratory fellows, advanced knowledge of laboratory methods
For non-laboratory fellows, advanced knowledge of epidemiology, clinical research methods, and biostatistics

Pay Range is $90,147.20 to $135,200.00 / annual salary
The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidates experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs.
