The post-doctoral fellow will serve in a clinical role in the context of a National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) Clinical trial on real world cognitive-behavioral therapy applications for adults with ADHD.
A post-doctoral fellow with a doctoral degree in clinical psychology, professional counseling psychology, social work, medicine, or a related field will be considered. Clinical supervision will be available from licensed clinical psychologists throughout the fellowship period which is expected to be at least two years and up to four and a half years.
The post-doctoral fellow will serve on a multidisciplinary clinical team that conducts comprehensive diagnostic evaluations with adults who self-refer for possible ADHD diagnosis. They also will serve as a liaison with PSYPACT credentialed clinical psychologists throughout the country who join the trial to receive training and consultation on delivering cognitive behavioral therapy to adults with ADHD. As part of the role, the post-doctoral fellow will also co-lead clinician trainings on cognitive behavioral therapy for ADHD and motivational interviewing for ADHD and will participate in weekly drop-in sessions with participating psychologists to support their implementation of cognitive-behavioral therapies for adults with ADHD. interventions. Although the training provided during this post-doctoral fellowship will be focused on the development of independent clinical assessment and treatment skills when working with adults with ADHD, there will also be opportunities for participation in collaborative research projects if desired by the fellow.
Required Education and Experience
Doctorate degree (PhD/DVM/MD) in specialty area from an accredited university training program.
Experience using basic research techniques of specialty area.

Experience in protocol and manuscript development and in grant writing.
Compensation Range
$80,172 per year
Salary Information
This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
