The Pergam Group is seeking a temporary (3-6 months), full-time Post-Doctoral Research Fellow to work and support researchprojects focus on infectionsin the immunocompromised host.

This person will conduct research on infections in the cancer setting, including studies on viral, bacterial and fungal infections. They will also collaborate with VIDD Infectious Diseases physicians, immunologists, oncologists, clinical investigators and laboratory-based staff.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ph.D. in the field of Epidemiology and experience in a related area.
• Must have experience working in infectious disease in cancer patients, with a focus on longitudinal data analyses and large datasets.
• Those with PhD experience with in studies involving hematopoietic cell transplantation are highly encouraged to apply.
• The candidate should be a self-starter and be able to work independently in a team environment. Strong analytical, writing, communication (in English), and problem-solving skills are needed.

The annual base salary range for this position is from $80,172 to $95,014, and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.Although Fred Hutch is not sponsoring most H-1B visas at this time, candidates who already hold an H-1B sponsored by another organization and are currently in the U.S. may be eligible for this position.
