Position Description Classification Support The Opportunity: As a Defense Mission Professional, you'll bring your analytical, strategic, and technical background to support mission requirements. In this role, you will research, develop, assess, and support position description (PD) classification activities across the command that will in-turn support Marines at more than 80 training sites across the United States. You will identify, evaluate, and utilize complex systems, policies, and processes related to civilian personnel requirements as part of the Marine Corps job and position classification and hiring service. You will directly impact Marine Corps human capital management and enable solutions that support training and education and organizational readiness. How You'll Contribute: • Gather, prepare, and complete all required documentation for PD classification packages • Coordinate with Training Command personnel and external partners to obtain necessary inputs and approvals • Conduct quality assurance and quality control reviews for accuracy, completeness, and compliance • Prepare PD packages for submission through Request for Personnel Action (RPA) in the Defense Civilian Personnel Data System (DCPDS) • Track and monitor PD package progress; maintain accurate records and filing systems • Provide regular updates and briefings to leadership on status, outstanding actions, and timelines • Communicate professionally and effectively with geographically dispersed stakeholders You Have: • Experience with USMC PD classification processes, including PD types and required package components • Experience submitting classification packages via Request for Personnel Action (RPA) in DCPDS • Knowledge of civilian personnel classification procedures and Office of Personnel Management (OPM) guidelines • Ability to manage multiple PD packages simultaneously and maintain organized, accurate documentation • Secret clearance • HS diploma or GED Nice If You Have: • Experience with Marine Corps civilian personnel hiring and classification processes • Ability to coordinate effectively with stakeholders across multiple locations • Bachelor's degree in a related field • Human Resource, Talent Management, manpower, or personnel management certifications Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $62,000.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
