Who we are looking forThe Portfolio Solutions Sales Vice President (VP) will be responsible for advancing the firm's Outsourced Trading, Transition Management, Currency Management, and Agency Trading offerings. This role is a pure sales role, and the candidate will be expected to originate and source new opportunities across the suite of Portfolio Solution products. The expectation is that this is an in-person position with flexibility due to the amount of travel that is required for this role.
What you will be responsible forAs Portfolio Solutions Sales VP, some of your responsibilities will include:
- Growing our Outsourced Trading client base by creating a pipeline of clients through prospecting, relationship management, referrals and cross-selling.
- Selling both electronic and cash equity execution capabilities to asset managers, asset owners and hedge funds.
- Originate new Fixed Income and Derivatives opportunities.
- Help grow our highly successful Currency Management and Transition Management franchises.
- Work in close partnership with other products owners to cross-sell Charles River, Prime Brokerage, FX, Financing Solutions, and Research services.
- Develop close working relationships with portfolio managers, traders and technology staff.
What we valueThese skills will help you succeed in this role:
- Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in the Capital Markets.
- Minimum 5 to 7 years of direct sales and functions with asset managers, asset owners and hedge funds.
- Deep understanding of Order Management Systems (OMS) functionality
- Previous expertise in Outsourced Trading & Equity Trading including buy side vendor OMS/EMS, FIX connectivity, and other aspects of Equity and Fixed Income Trading
- Demonstrated track record of success in growing outsourced trading and agency brokerage businesses
- Possess a firm understanding of Global multi asset class market structure and best execution standards
- Able to work in a fast paced, market-driven, environment and be dynamic in your approach
- Desire to build relationships across internal divisions to uncover opportunities to position offerings with internal clients
- Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to easily and comfortably communicate with individuals, groups and clients.
Education & Preferred Qualifications- Active Series 7 and 63 licenses a must
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
Additional requirements- Travel up to 50% for client interactions
Salary Range:$120,000 - $225,000 Annual
