Full Job Description
POSITION OVERVIEW:

Under general direction, this position's primary responsibilities include all aspects of portfolio management as relates to new and assigned portfolio loans. A primary responsibility includes the preparation of comprehensive financial reviews and Loan Offering Analyses that evaluate the prospective financing considerations, incorporating complex underwriting to include cash flow analysis, project economics and valuation, guarantor analysis, market analysis, underwriting responsibilities and ultimate recommendation. The loan analyses include both commercial healthcare loans and commercial permanent owner-occupied mortgages or commercial construction and commercial permanent mortgages with healthcare components. This position is considered the more experienced job in the job family.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performs portfolio management responsibilities including:
  • Solicits existing portfolio customers in an effort to increase and retain loan volume and cross sell Bank products and services.
  • Assists in transaction negotiation and leads the preparation of Loan Offering Analysis of existing loans in connection with renewals and modifications and new business transactions; facilitates closing of the transaction including review of loan documents for accuracy.
  • Performs continued Performance and Delinquency Control to include monitoring maturities and past dues and covenant compliance.
  • Prepares underwriting for new credit requests and annual reviews of existing loans to access credit quality and covenant compliance; performs property inspections.
  • Promotes customer relations.
  • Prepares for audit reviews.

Prepares Loan Offering Analyses, which include the following:
  • Detailed operational and/or property descriptions, specific healthcare industry and market analysis.
  • Detailed analysis of financial statements.
  • Project economics, cash flow leverage, enterprise value, income and expense analysis, tenancy analysis, and property valuations and discounted cash flow models.
  • Construction budget analysis with determination of sources and uses of funds.
  • Borrower and Guarantor analysis.
  • Assess lending risks, clearly identify offsetting mitigants and summarize recommendations.
  • Adherence to Healthcare Credit Policy

Complete special projects as directed by the department head.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred
  • 5 or more years related within financial industry with 3-4 years having direct exposure to Healthcare organizations.
  • Comprehensive financial analysis experience.
  • Comprehensive loan analysis experience in respective discipline.
  • Meaningful experience with Healthcare & Not-for-Profit lending (3-4 years)
  • Strong verbal and written communicative and analytical skills.
  • Proficient with software programs (Microsoft Word, Excel), financial analysis programs and discounted cash flow models.
  • Strong customer service skills.


WORKING CONDITIONS

Work is mainly performed in a normal office environment. Noise levels usually are moderate.

  • The hazards are mainly those present in a normal office setting.

Pay Details:

$99,400 - $142,000 annually

Please note, the base pay actually offered may vary based upon the candidate's skills and experience, job-related knowledge, education, geographic location, internal equity, and other applicable business and organizational needs.

This role is incentive eligible based upon company, business, and/or individual goal achievement and performance.
