Full Job Description
PORTFOLIO ANALYST

THE POSITION:

The Portfolio Analyst will build and refine financial models, analyze portfolio-wide performance across data centers, translate strategic and operational initiatives into clear financial insights, support KPI reporting and cross-functional decision-making, and strengthen finance processes to drive disciplined, scalable growth. The Analyst will report directly to the Director of Finance Portfolio Analytics and work closely with the SVP of Finance and senior and executive leadership to support the demands of a high-growth, private equity-backed business. The Analyst will:
  • Build and maintain robust financial models and long-range scenario analyses to evaluate business performance against key goals and metrics
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses related to strategic initiatives, capital planning, and operational investments, translating assumptions into clear financial impact and decision-ready insights
  • Synthesize and analyze financial and operational data across all our data centers
  • Support in building and monitoring KPIs/dashboards for our data centers, highlighting opportunities to drive better outcomes and providing recommendations for improvement with a strong understanding of our strategic priorities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across departments on high priority and growth initiatives; provide support
  • Improve finance workflows, modeling standards, and reporting processes to increase rigor, efficiency, and scalability

THE DETAILS:
  • Location: Denver, CO - In office: 4 days per week
  • Travel: less than 5% domestically

MUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in finance, investment banking, consulting, corporate FP&A, or a similarly analytical environment
  • Strong financial modeling skills in Excel (or equivalent tools); ability to build clean, flexible, auditable models
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with BI tools (Power BI) is a plus
  • Prior experience in a data center is preferred but not required
  • Ability to operate independently while managing multiple priorities
  • High intellectual curiosity and strong attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal, written communication and organizational skills
  • Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, and organize a diverse workload
