Full Job Description
Why this role

Evolve is building an AI-centric FP&A team, and this role sits at the center of that vision. You'll support forecasting, variance analysis, and reporting tied to inventory performance - activations, retention, churn, and product mix - while partnering directly with Marketing, Sales, Account Management, and Onboarding. Your work will inform decisions at the Leadership Team and Board level. If you've been experimenting with AI tools and want a role where that curiosity is part of the job description, this is it.

What you'll do
  • Build and maintain inventory forecasts (activations, retention, churn, product mix) with clear narratives on the business drivers behind every number
  • Deliver budget-to-actual and forecast-to-actual variance analysis across commercial domains
  • Run scenario modeling and plan attainment analysis to surface risks before they become surprises
  • Build and extend SQL and dbt models on Snowflake that power commercial reporting
  • Contribute to monthly business reviews, scorecard reporting, and ongoing QA of key metrics
  • Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Account Management, and Onboarding as a trusted finance resource
  • Support leadership with rapid ad hoc analysis and strategic deep-dives
  • Contribute to investor updates and Board materials, and help build the team's proprietary AI-native FP&A tooling

What makes you a great fit
  • 1-3 years in an analytical role - FP&A, business analysis, product analytics, or similar (strong internship or academic equivalent considered)
  • SQL proficiency - you can write queries efficiently, not just read them
  • Demonstrated hands-on use of AI tools to improve workflows, speed, or output quality
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to connect data to the "so what" for non-finance audiences
  • Excel / Google Sheets fluency for day-to-day analysis
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and fast-moving environments where frameworks don't yet exist
  • Clear communicator who can translate complex analysis into actionable insight
  • Familiarity with Snowflake, dbt, or Python for automation is a plus

Compensation

For this role salary is $80,000 - $90,000 depending on relevant experience.
