- Develop large-scale deep learning models for scientific discovery

- Contribute to the development of interpretable and high-performing AI models
- Develop and train large AI models for science
- Collaborate and/or mentor other students, postdocs, Software Engineers, Research Analysts and Research Scientists.
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the full-time annual compensation range for the Research Scientist level is $120,000 - $250,000 depending on experience.

This full-time, fixed-term position is based on-site at NYU's Center for Data Science in New York City, with an initial one-year appointment and potential for extension.

Qualifications- Education: Ph.D. in machine learning, computer science, engineering or related technical discipline.
- Experience:
- Experience in developing novel ML architectures
- Expertise in developing and training large AI models is preferred
- Research expertise in one major area of computational science is preferred.
- Proficiency in Python and either PyTorch or JAX
- Experience with HPC, GPU is preferred
