WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US

At SimCorp, we support major financial institutions in optimizing their investments, accounting, and operations through IT systems, processes, and financial expertise. The Junior Project Manager and PMO Analyst role is crucial for aiding new and ongoing client projects to meet their business objectives

As a Junior Project Manager and PMO Analyst, you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely project deliveries, accurate reporting, and effective communication. You will be part of a global team of PMO professionals who will assist you in transitioning into the role and developing your career within the PMO/PM path.

The Global PMO team operates in Warsaw, Manila, Toronto, Mexico City, Riyadh and Copenhagen.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
  • Close collaboration with Project Managers assisting them with running the big projects.
  • Managing the delivery of smaller projects following our delivery model and project artefacts
  • Initiating projects/changes and educating new Project Managers and other stakeholders on Simcorp's Delivery Model and artefacts
  • Assisting with overall project and operational planning, tracking and reporting
  • Manage the financial tracking of projects and changes, monthly reconciliations and client invoicing process
  • Assist with resources planning and updates
  • Participate in project coordination and status calls as well as following up on agreed tasks and tracking progress on agreed actions
  • Provide Ad-hoc support to all client engagements through Global PMO ticket system

  • At least 3 years' work experience in a similar role for IT projects or as a project manager
  • Proficient decision-maker and quick learner

  • Experience in project reporting and resource management / scheduling
  • Experience in financial tracking and reporting
  • Very good experience with MS Excel
  • Experience with PPM tools as Monday.com, Workday, Power BI and Azure DevOps
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written)

Simcorp follows a global hybrid policy, asking employees to work from the office two days each week while allowing remote work on other days.

For Toronto only: The salary range for this position is $76,165 to $95,165 CAD. Base pay may vary based on factors such as years of experience, skills and qualifications. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and benefits including health and dental care, time off and Group RRSP/TFSA.
