About this position: PM/FO Staff Assistant Location - Washington, DC

Wage/Salary Range: $105k - $115k

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Support efficient management of information for the Assistant Secretary, Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary, and other Front Office principals.
• Work closely with Special Assistants and the Chief of Staff to task briefing materials and other documents to PM offices, ensuring materials are assigned and cleared appropriately based on equities within PM, T, and the Department as a whole.
• Take comprehensive notes during Senior Staff and DAS Huddle meetings; ensure all important discussions and decisions are accurately documented.
• Compile and disseminate the PM Weekly Activity Report widely across PM to keep all offices informed of key activities and updates.
• Review drafted papers to promote efficient and timely delivery of high-quality products that are clear, concise, and properly formatted.
• Liaise with the Executive Secretariat, Under Secretaries' offices, and other bureaus to coordinate the flow of paperwork to and from the PM Front Office.
• Carry out other special assignments as directed by PM/FO principals.
Required (Minimum Necessary) Qualifications
• Education Requirements: Undergraduate degree (associate or bachelor's degree) in business administration, international relations, financial management, accounting, or human resource management.
• Level of Experience Requirements: Minimum two (2) years of experience in administrative support, program coordination, or a related field.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work independently.
• • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to quickly learn proprietary applications and systems for processing administrative requirements.

• Secret Clearance; Top-Secret Clearance Preferred
Supervisory Responsibilities
• This position will not have supervisory responsibilities.
DOT Covered/Safety-Sensitive Role Requirements
• This position is not subject to federal requirements regarding Department of Transportation "safety-sensitive" functions.

Physical Setting: The physical work is located at the Department of State, 2201 C Street NW Washington, DC 20520.
Schedule and Flexibility: Performance will include 1920 hours of services for each position per performance period (average of 40 hours each week x 52 weeks - 10 U.S. federally observed holidays).
The Contractor shall perform the stated services for eight hours per day between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding Government holidays.
Some Contractor personnel may be required to work alternate eight-hour shifts as specified elsewhere in this contract.
Overtime implementation does not exceed 100 hours in 52 weeks.
Additional Qualifying Factors
As a condition of employment, you will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and have acceptable background check results. If applicable to the contract, you must also obtain and maintain the appropriate clearance levels required and must also be able to obtain access to military installations.
