This is aPlumbing Estimatorposition basedin-office in Burnaby(no work-from-home). The business has an immediate need to stabilize and strengthen estimating capacity.
You'll be focused onplumbing/piping estimating only(including change-order takeoffs), supporting a steady bid cadence and working closely with preconstruction leadership and PMs to refine takeoff assumptions and pricing accuracy over time.
ABOUT THE POSITION- Complete plumbing takeoffs and detailed estimates for bid submissions
- Handlechange order takeoffsand support pricing revisions as needed
- Managemultiple concurrent bidsand competing internal deadlines with PMs and preconstruction team
- Review and refine estimates with thePreconstruction Managerand project team pre-tender
- Continuously improve takeoff parameters using real site feedback (tight loop between estimating and execution)
- Report directly toPreconstruction Manager.
THE REQUIREMENTS- 2-5 years of plumbing takeoff/estimating experience
- Strong working knowledge ofBC Plumbing Code
- Able to manage 1-3 bids/week with bid values ranging from$20K to $40M
- Comfortable workingfully in-officein Burnaby (local candidate; no WFH)
- High attention to detail, strong organization, and ability to handle fast-moving bid cycles
COMPENSATION- Base salary target: $80,000 - $130,000
