The ideal candidate brings strong experience in industrial automation, PLC systems, and commissioning, along with the ability to coordinate across engineering, field teams, integrators, and clients to drive successful project delivery.

You will play a key role in ensuring control systems are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of performance, reliability, and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead day-to-day execution of PLC and automation projects across multiple job sites, with significant time spent on-site supporting field teams and commissioning activities.
  • Manage full project lifecycle including planning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, execution, and turnover.
  • Coordinate closely with PLC engineers, SCADA developers, field technicians, subcontractors, and commissioning teams to ensure alignment and progress.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during project execution, providing updates, resolving issues, and managing expectations.
  • Track project performance across schedule, cost, quality, and risk, and provide regular reporting to internal leadership.
  • Support commissioning efforts, including system startup, troubleshooting coordination, and integration sequencing across multiple vendors.
  • Manage change orders, RFIs, and contract documentation to ensure accurate scope and financial control.
  • Review project deliverables including control sequences, I/O lists, and system integration requirements to ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Coordinate integration between PLC systems, SCADA platforms (e.g., Ignition), and facility systems (BMS, EPMS).
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to installation, commissioning timelines, and system performance.
  • Ensure compliance with Divcon's internal systems, safety standards, and documentation protocols.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in project management within industrial automation, PLC controls, or related environments.
  • Strong working knowledge of Rockwell / Allen-Bradley PLC systems, SCADA integration, and industrial networking.
  • Experience supporting field execution and commissioning of automation systems.
  • Understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, including HVAC, central plants, VFDs, and control systems integration.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects or sites simultaneously, often in fast-paced, high-demand environments.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical teams and clients.
