Our Cloud Operations team is looking for a motivated
Platform Engineer to join our team! Within this role, you will build and deploy scalable, secure cloud infrastructure on Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud and implement business-aligned cloud solutions.

Office location: Toronto - Canada (preference - 1) or Waterloo - Canada (preference -2) or Boston - USA (preference -3)Work arrangement: Hybrid - 3 days in office (nearest office), 2 days from home; Remote working option is not available.Position Responsibilities:- Design and deploy scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure using platforms like Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
- Implement cloud solutions that meet business needs and are aligned with standard methodologies.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and services.
- Work closely with development, operations, and other IT teams to integrate cloud services into existing workflows.
- Communicate efficiently with partners to understand requirements and provide updates on cloud initiatives.
- Find opportunities for improving cloud infrastructure and processes.
- Provide insights and recommendations on cost-saving measures.
- Provides reliable and scalable cloud platform (especially Containers/Kubernetes) expertise to engineers.
Required Qualifications:- 6+ years of experience in cloud computing, with a proven track record of crafting and leading complex cloud environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. A master's degree can be helpful.
- 4+ years of experience with tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Strong understanding of cloud concepts like IaaS, PaaS, compute, storage, networking, and analytics.
- Experience with multiple cloud providers and the ability to craft solutions that apply the strengths of different platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Technical expertise in public cloud (preferably Azure) infrastructure and platform technologies especially Containers/Kubernetes required.
Preferred Qualifications:- Proficient in PowerShell scripting.
- Experience with container technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
- In-depth knowledge of cloud-native networking, including VPNs, peering, and hybrid cloud connectivity.
- Demonstrates strong independence and expertise in leading multiple projects.

For Boston - USA hirings, Base Salary range: $90,160 USD (min) - $128,800 USD (mid-point) - $167,440 USD (max)
