Full Job Description
The Plant Training & Onboarding Lead is responsible for coordinating, standardizing and continuously improving onboarding, technical training, qualification and development programs for all hourly employees across 3 manufacturing operations.

The role ensures new hires receive structured, role-specific onboarding and practical on-the-job training that prepares them to safely and effectively perform the work for which they were hired. The position partners with Operations, Human Resources, Safety, Quality, Maintenance and departmental leaders to improve employee readiness, close skills gaps and strengthen early-tenure retention.
As an individual contributor with no direct reports, the position achieves results through cross-functional coordination, trainer development, supervisor support, training audits, competency verification and disciplined follow-up. Success is measured by faster time to qualification, consistent onboarding execution, stronger training effectiveness, improved new hire retention and fewer operational issues attributable to skill gaps.
