Full Job Description
Under the direction of the Plant Manager, leads daily manufacturing operations, ensures regulatory compliance, and builds a high-performing team. This role is responsible for overseeing plant performance, driving continuous improvement, and partnering with cross-functional teams to meet production, safety, and business objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Lead all aspects of plant operations to meet safety, quality, and production targets.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and drive operational efficiency initiatives.
  • Oversee plant projects, maintenance activities, and process improvements.
  • Collaborate with sales and support teams to align production with business needs.
  • Drive and model full compliance with all safety, environmental, food safety, GMP, and HACCP standards.
  • Enforce company policies and regulatory requirements across all plant activities.
  • Monitor plant conditions and proactively address risks to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Review and approve accounting practices, including accounts payable processes.
  • Ensure proper cost control and alignment with operational budgets.
  • Maintain compliance with internal financial procedures.
  • Lead full-cycle talent management, including hiring, onboarding, coaching, and performance management.
  • Ensure compliance with all labor laws and hiring regulations.
  • Build, develop, and retain a strong operations team through training and career development.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive culture that drives engagement and accountability.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide actionable feedback.
  • Work flexible schedules, including shifts, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Perform other duties as assigned


Qualifications

Education - High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's Degree in Operations, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience)

Technical Skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), ERP systems such as M3, RF/scanning inventory systems

Experience: 5+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing or operations supervision preferred, with demonstrated leadership and team management responsibilities.

Additional Information

Physical: This position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb stairs, bend, kneel, walk and stand for extended periods, work in confined spaces, and work at heights all within a manufacturing environment.

Must possess appropriate sensory awareness (sight, hearing, touch, etc.) to respond to plant conditions, including alarms and environmental changes.

Must consent and pass background check and drug screen.
