Full Job Description
As a Plant Quality Manager, you will be responsible for the maintenance and control of the plant's quality testing and reporting system within the plant.

What you'll be doing:
  • Providing development and maintenance of the quality testing/reporting system.
  • Responsible to develop, coordinate, support, train, assist, and facilitate within all attributes of the Quality Management System
  • Point of contact for all Customer issues, lead corrective actions, and ensure Sonoco is meeting all customer requirements.
  • Responsible for the Advanced Product Quality Planning Process (APQP)
  • Lead the continuous improvement program.
  • Reduces variation within work tasks to improve process efficiency and quality.
  • Managing the specification, test methods, instructions, and audit processes.
  • Ensure quality records are maintained.
  • Develops best practices for each operation within the plant and trains across all shifts as required


This position is located in Dalton, GA.

We'd love to hear from you if:
  • You have a four-year degree, preferably in the sciences or engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years' experience in the development and maintenance of a quality testing/reporting system.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt certified is preferred


Compensation:

Quality Manager - Plant: The annual base salary range for this role is from $88,000 to $99,000, plus a quarterly target bonus of 12.5% of base salary.

Quality Manager II - Plant: The annual base salary range for this role is from $102,240 to $115,020, plus a quarterly target bonus of 12.5% of base salary.

Quality Manager III - Plant: The annual base salary range for this role is from $113,840 to $128,070, plus a quarterly target bonus of 12.5% of base salary
