As the
Plant Manager, you will oversee all operations of the Barberton, OH and Darien, WI facilities. You will ensure efficient production, compliance with industry standards and plant-wide safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals. You will identify and lead continuous improvement projects.

Responsibilities:- Manage daily plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality, and logistics and ensure adherence to customer specifications
- Maintain a safe work environment in compliance with OSHA PSM and environmental regulations
- Promote a culture of safety and accountability across all teams
- Oversee quality control systems to meet ISO 9000 requirements
- Implement corrective actions and continuous improvement programs
- Improve and ensure production schedules meet customer delivery requirements
- Monitor indicators for throughput, scrap rates, and downtime; implement cost-saving measures
- Lead, coach, and guide development of plant staff to achieve performance goals.
- Foster a collaborative and performance culture
- Ensure customer satisfaction through on-time delivery and quality performance.
- Champion Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma programs
- Identify opportunities for productivity and OEE improvements
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
- 10+ years of experience managing plant operations and large teams
- Demonstrated track record in managing a unionized workforce and handling collective bargaining, grievances, and industrial relations
- Experience in specialty materials manufacturing including microporous substrates, polymer films, membranes, or other engineered sheet products is highly desirable
- Experience in phosgene-derived specialty chemical products is highly desirable
