Plant Manager to lead operations at one of its flagship production facilities. This facility manufactures customized structural and architectural products used in commercial, agricultural, and residential building systems across the U.S. and Canada.
This is a critical leadership role with responsibility for overseeing plant operations including safety, production, quality, scheduling, maintenance, and performance metrics. The right candidate will bring a mix of strategic leadership and hands-on management, with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead day-to-day operations and drive strategic initiatives to improve efficiency, quality, and safety.
- Provide leadership across all plant functions including production, logistics, maintenance, purchasing, and administration.
- Foster a culture of safety and ensure compliance with OSHA and internal safety protocols.
- Establish and track KPIs, using data to guide improvements and decision-making.
- Build and mentor a high-performing team with a focus on accountability and professional growth.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on budgeting, capital planning, and operational strategy.
- Optimize use of ERP systems and ensure adherence to company procedures and documentation standards.
Qualifications:- 8+ years of progressive leadership experience in a heavy manufacturing environment.
- At least 5 years of senior-level supervisory experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field - or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Strong working knowledge of production scheduling, lean manufacturing principles, and standard operating procedures.
- Ability to interpret blueprints and technical documentation.
- Data-driven decision-maker with a proven track record of achieving operational KPIs.
