Full Job Description
Pipe General Foreman

Brown and Root is looking for a Piping General Foreman with 10-15 years Industrial Mechanical Experience. Oversees and directs crew members to ensure daily tasks are carried out in a safe, timely and efficient manner. Must be able to read isometric drawings, derive location, orientation, size and diameter of piping or other equipment and any other tasks involved in installing/maintaining piping systems. Some of these duties may include; layouts, fabrication, assembly, installs and maintaining piping systems, pipe supports, fixtures, and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment for steam, hot water fixtures and equipment for steam, heating, cooling, lubricating, sprinkling and production and processing systems.

Responsibilities
  • Monitors the activities of contractors and subcontractors performing craftwork, ensuring compliance with project quality, safety, and security requirements.
  • Ensures that all subordinates are trained on and aware of specifications and work procedures and are utilized to ensure optimal efficiency.
  • Maintains effective schedule and cost control of craft personnel.
  • Plans required work activity to ensure that design drawings, tools, equipment, and materials are available when needed.

Responsible for safety of supervised personnel; ensures that craft personnel comply with established safety policies and procedures, and that they practice safe work habits.
