Opportunity Information

Sutter East Bay Medical Group (SEBMG) is seeking to hire a full or part-time Neurohospitalist to join an established group of Neurologist providing inpatient Neurology services in 2 East Bay Medical Centers. The SEBMG Neurology Department provides 24/7 coverage for ER and hospital inpatients. This includes coverage for a comprehensive stroke center. The hospital coverage will be shared with one full time Neurohospitalist and other members of the Neurology Department who also participate in daily rounds and night call. The hospital offers a highly collaborative environment with Internal Medicine Hospitalists and full complement of medical and surgical sub-specialists.

SEBMG is a rapidly growing multi-specialty medical group whose physicians and advanced practice clinicians work in 10 care centers and 4 hospitals in the San Francisco East Bay. SEBMG is affiliated with Sutter East Bay Medical Foundation, a not-for-profit health care organization providing operational and administrative support to the medical group.

Position details:

Shift based work with both daytime and night time shifts

Responsible for all new consults and follow ups during the shift

Minimum 16 shifts per month though some variability from month to month. Increased number of shifts available if desired.

Department Highlights:

The listed range is solely base compensation for full time (1.0 FTE) clinicians. It does not include incentives and benefits. The base compensation rate may be adjusted based on training, experience, community need and other possible determining components.
