Description & RequirementsSt. Luke's Elmore is currently seeking a board certified/board eligible internist to join a team of dedicated and compassionate primary care providers in the growing community of Mountain Home, Idaho. The Elmore Internal Medicine Clinic is a currently comprised of 1 internist with 2 advanced practitioners. We offer a broad scope of services, including (but not limited to) the diagnosis and treatment of heart disease and hypertension, kidney disease, gastrointestinal problems, allergies, cancer, anemia, and lung problems, such as asthma and emphysema. We also manage infections, neurological problems, such as strokes and seizures, nutritional problems, depression, skin disease, and diabetes and thyroid disease.
St. Luke's Elmore has 3 clinic locations providing a broad spectrum of specialty care, urgent care, and primary care. These clinics are located on the same campus as the St. Luke's Elmore hospital with 25 inpatient beds, a 24-hour emergency department, lab and imaging services, family birthing suites, and a long-term care unit.
Physicians have the option of admitting their own patients or having the contracted hospitalists assume inpatient care.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: MD/DO from accredited medical school
- BC/BE in Specialty
- Active, unrestricted medical license in the state of practice
- Current licenses with full prescriptive authority from the Federal DEA and Idaho Board of Pharmacy
- Eligibility to obtain Medical Staff Privileges with St. Luke's Health System
