Job DescriptionAtlantic Health is Seeking a Physician Assistant for Atlantic Health Chilton Surgical AssociatesAtlantic Health, one of New Jersey's largest non-profit healthcare networks, is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) to support Atlantic Health Chilton Surgical Associates located at 242 West Parkway, Pompton Plains, NJ. The PA will join a collaborative and growing multispecialty team. This position requires flexibility Monday-Friday.
As a surgery Physician Assistant,you will contribute to the provision of comprehensive patient care. This will include conducting thorough preoperative assessments, ordering, and interpreting diagnostic tests, assisting in surgical procedures under the guidance of attending surgeons, and managing postoperative care and patient recovery. Additionally, you will be responsible for performing thorough history and physical examinations, ordering, and reviewing results of laboratory and radiology studies, prescribing, and renewing medications, and developing and appropriately adjusting treatment plans.

- Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey
- ACLS and BLS certification required
- Experience working in the OR preferred
- Strong work ethic and a team player who can work independently
