Job Description

Position Overview:
The School of Medicine, Department of Cardiovascular Medicine, is excited to announce an opening for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant specializing in Cardiovascular Medicine . Join our expanding team and provide exceptional medical care primarily in our cardiology clinic setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Independently provide professional medical support for Cardiovascular Medicine services.
• Collaborate with physicians and hospital staff to promote team-based patient care.
• Educate patients and set treatment plans, ensuring adherence to prescribed therapies. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment accordingly. Act as a resource for patients, families, nursing staff and other healthcare professionals.
• Conduct comprehensive health assessments and demonstrate autonomy in the diagnosis and treatment of health problems.
• Order/perform diagnostic procedures as needed.
• Develop discharge plans and coordinate with care management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Shift

Monday - Friday
8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Minimum Qualifications

Physicians Assistant (PA) licensure by the Missouri State Board of Registration for the Healing Arts.

Anticipated Hiring Range

Salary Range: $90,251 - $147,284.80 annually
Grade: PAT - 012
University Title: PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT SC
