Position Summary:

A Physician Assistant (PA) is a licensed medical professional who provides direct patient care, diagnosing and treating illnesses under the supervision of a physician.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct physical exams, take medical histories and diagnose and treat common illnesses and injuries.
• Perform minor surgical procedures, assist in surgeries and provide patient education on health maintenance and disease prevention.
• Prescribe medications and manage treatment plans in accordance with state laws and regulations.
• Work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of care provided.

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program is required.
• Must me licensed to practice as a PA in the state of employment, which requires passing of the Physician Assistant National Certifying Exam (PANCE).
• Strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities and a commitment to patient-centered care are essential. To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies in performance of the essential functions of this position.
