Description:Physician Assistant - DHK Ambulatory Surgery - Full time / Rotating- Cornell CampusThe PA will be responsible for all preoperative and postoperative work within the Ambulatory Surgery and Interventional Radiology space. There may be opportunity to first or second assist in the operating room as well. The position includes coverage for multi surgical specialties including:
- General surgery
- Urology
- ENT
- Ophthalmology
- Breast surgery
- Podiatry
- GYN
- Orthopedics
- Plastic surgery
- Spine surgery
- Robotic surgery
- Interventional Radiology
This position involves four 10-hour shifts per week, scheduled Monday through Friday, with hours from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 10:30 AM to 8:00 PM.
Required Criteria - Graduate of an accredited PA program
- Current NYS PA licensure
- NCCPA certification
- DEA Certification
- BLS/ACLS/PALS certification
Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.
NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.
Salary Range:$161,000-$210,000/Annual
