Altais Medical Group is a growing team-based primary care model, led by physicians. Our practices are delivering care that is centered around their patients. Built on clinical expertise and enriched by technology we are innovating to help patients get the care they need in the moment it matters.

This role provides clinical primary care provided by Physician specifically trained for and skilled in comprehensive first contact and continuing care for persons with any undiagnosed sign, symptom, or health concern not limited by problem origin (biological, behavioral, or social), organ system, or diagnosis.

This position will work closely with the clinical team and is primarily responsible for managing direct patient care with the implementation of evidence-based medicine and adherence to national and internal practice guidelines and policies. Provides patient advocacy in the health care system to accomplish cost-effective care by coordination of health care services. Promotes effective communication with patients and encourages the role of the patient as a partner in health care. This position will also play a key role at driving clinical initiatives for BTHealth, collaborating with other health professionals, and utilizing consultation of referral, as appropriate.

  • Provides direct and indirect patient care as part of the treatment regime, identifying actual or potential risks based on patient screening data.
  • Collaborates with providers, ancillary personnel, community resources and other interdisciplinary team members to proactively resolve patient needs, including collaborating with other health professionals, and utilizing consultation or referral as appropriate.
  • Leverages the use of the Electronic Health Record ("EHR") to manage and improve patient care, workflows and clinical compliance.
  • Provides patient advocacy in the health care system to accomplish cost-effective care by coordination of health care services.
  • Promotes effective communication with patients and encourages the role of the patient as a partner in health care.

  • Highly organized, strong time management skills and flexibility to manage multiple timelines and activities.


Standards continue to be refined reflecting the scope of services within which PCPs are expected to practice. Board certification must be current. The PCP is required to provide call coverage for assigned Brown & Toland members 24/7, 365 days a year or participate in a call group.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years clinical experience
  • Successfully completed residency in their specialty
  • Preferred: 3+ years professional experience working as a PCP
  • Significant experience working with an EHR, preferably Epic
  • Active and in good standing Medical Licensure in the state of California and Board Certified
  • Active and good standing NPI number
  • Active and good standing DEA number from US Drug Enforcement


The Base Salary for this position is $250,000+
