Physical Therapy Center Manager

Locations available: California Bay Area, California Sacramento, New Mexico

Compensation: $85k up to $100k per year, depending on experience/location

Annual Bonus:

Overview: Nexus HR is looking for an experienced Physical Therapy Center Manager, for a reputable rehabilitation facility with locations in the following states: New Mexico, Arizona, California, Washington, Alaska, and Texas.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Create a positive work environment that aligns with the company's mission and vision, enhancing team morale and retention.
  • Manage employee relations and ensure compliance with HR policies; collaborate with Human Resources as needed.
  • Assist in developing and implementing the center's fiscal budget and strategic plans, including marketing for referrals.
  • Foster strong relationships with physicians and payers; oversee clinical specialty programs as required.
  • Ensure profitability by interpreting financial statements and developing strategic plans for improvement.
  • Supervise Aide staff to deliver high-quality customer service and patient scheduling.
  • Maintain efficient caseload management and oversee staff training in clinical programs.
  • Conduct performance reviews and manage staff schedules, ensuring compliance with company policies and standards.
  • Participate in monthly staff meetings and ensure clinic cleanliness and professionalism.
  • Ensure adherence to state Practice Act and provide thorough documentation of patient care.
  • Maintain open communication with team members, patients, and third-party payers.
  • Stay current with continuing education requirements and healthcare industry changes.

Qualifications:
  • Graduate of Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy programs in the US
  • Graduates from non-CAPTE programs with equivalent education are welcome to apply
  • Current licensure/registration as a physical therapist
  • At least one year of experience in healthcare management is highly preferred
  • Valid CPR certification
  • Strong organizational time management, and communication skills
  • Leadership skills to effectively supervise assistants and aides
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Word, Excel)
  • Commitment to professional development and compliance with healthcare regulations
