Position: Pharmacy Manager / Pharm DPOSITION SUMMARY: The Manager of the Pharmacy is responsible for the operations of Pharmacy Services, including day-to-day operations, pharmaceutical care, clinical and distributive services, financial oversight and personnel management under the Direction of the Director of Pharmacy. The Manager of Pharmacy is also responsible for ensuring that the Pharmacy provides optimal services; meets all legal, accreditation, and certification requirements and complies with all applicable procedures, codes and standards of the organization .
Job Duties/Responsibilities:- Demonstrates leadership in the provision of pharmacy services through a collaborative process designed to integrate services/functions with NWTHS. Directs daily operations of the inpatient pharmacy / CentRx.
- Exhibits effective leadership skills through planning, organizing, directing, and coordinating cost center functions in relation to the UHS and the NWTHS vision, mission, strategic goals and values and in accordance with The Joint Commissions' leadership standards.
- Manages cost center areas of responsibility in such a way as to meet the fiscal goals of the organization. Implements under the Direction of the Director of Pharmacy, value added programs and services.
- Manages the satisfaction of department customers to include patients, employees and physicians through effective communication and appropriate responsiveness to customer issues.

QualificationsEducation, Training, Experience and Licenses/Registrations Required:- Licensed by the Texas State Board of Pharmacy
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy required; Master's degree or Pharm D. preferred
- 3 years related experience required, 5 years preferred
- Experience in practice setting required.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- Experience in pharmacy technology oversight preferred.
