Full Job Description
Weekend requirement will be both Saturday and Sunday, every 6th weekend.
  • JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE
    • Performs the duties of Pharmacist as prescribed by state and federal statutes as well as SHS policies. Prepares and dispenses medication; assesses clinical status of patients (neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics). Provides drug information to the medical team. Educates patients.
  • EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
    • Current unencumbered Oregon Pharmacist Licensure required.
    • Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
    • All job offers are contingent upon the candidate passing a pre-employment/post offer drug screen.
    • GSR Pharmacy:
      • If responsible for participating on the pharmacy code response team, then Healthcare Provider Level BLS, ACLS, and PALS are required within 90 days of hire.

    • Social Perceptiveness - Ability to work with a diverse population from pediatrics to geriatrics. Basic understanding of age-related differences in caring for and/or communicating with patients and caregivers.
