Pharmacy Services Pharmacist- RetailJOB SUMMARY This
full-time(0.8 status or 32hrs per week) position performs activities involved in the procurement, charging, storage, preparation, and dispensing of medications. Supervises the daily operations of the Prairie Lakes Campus Pharmacy, providing services to customers and physicians.
RESPONSIBILITIESPrepares new and refill prescriptions.
Orders, and, restocks medications, including Rx and over-the-counter (OTC), and assists in the maintenance of appropriate records for wholesaler and Group Purchasing Organization (GPO).
Responsible for customer service and satisfaction.
Assists customers in identifying appropriate items and process charges.
Oversees day-to-day staffing and schedule coordination with the hospital pharmacy, including directly supervising all technicians.
Maintains computer records for prescription drug files and customer information
Processes and maintains daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
Maintains proper inventory.
Maintains legally required records.
Other duties may be assigned.
JOB SPECIFICATIONSEducation and/or Experience
Pharm D or BS degree from an accredited college of Pharmacy
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
South Dakota Board of Pharmacy Pharmacist License. A valid South Dakota driver's license is required.
