Our 24-hour pharmacy offers opportunities to perform clinical pharmacy services for patients in various departments of the hospital, including ICU, PCU/Cardiac, and the Emergency Department. How you'll contribute

A Pharmacist who excels in this role:

Manages drug therapy protocols as a part of an interdisciplinary team.

Reviews, interprets and evaluates medication orders to identify, prevent and resolve potential or actual drug related problems.

Provides drug information and education to medical staff, healthcare professionals, and patients, and pharmacy students.

Documents interventions and their outcomes for use in drug therapy quality improvement efforts.

Evaluates medication orders for accuracy and completeness prior to order entry.

Checks for accuracy after filling by technicians.

What we're looking for

Applicants should possess a Doctoral degree in Pharmacy (PharmD), along with a pharmacy license active in North Carolina. Additional requirements include:
• Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
