OVERVIEW

The Pharmacist serves as a clinical expert and trusted resource, demonstrating professionalism and leadership while supporting health system partners. This role applies advanced pharmaceutical knowledge and extensive experience to deliver high-quality patient care and promote best practices. The Pharmacist is committed to lifelong learning through continuous professional development, including literature review, continuing education, and self-assessment, to maintain clinical expertise and ensure evidence-based practice.

Shift: Second Shift Hours

Schedule: 7 on - 7 off

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES
  • Maintains professionalism and conducts self as a role model, serving as a resource for all health system partners.
  • Is an expert staff pharmacist who relies on skills of comprehensive knowledge and experience.
  • Maintains practice by ongoing professional literature review, continuing education and self-evaluation.


EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Graduate of an accredited Pharmacy Program

Hospital Pharmacy experience or residency preferred

CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE

Wisconsin/Illinois Registered Pharmacist License or eligible

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Excellent interpretive/analytical skills for pharmaceutical applications
Strong accuracy skills
Computer experience

LEVEL OF SUPERVISION

Work requires a moderate level of independent judgment along with good interpretative and interpersonal skills with justification and accountability to Supervisor, Manager, and Director.

SUPERVISES

This position supervises technicians. This position is involved in the recruitment and orientation process and provides performance feedback and input for performance evaluation purposes. May implement coaching, counseling, and corrective action when needed.

PAY RANGE:

$119,940.61 - $179,910.92
