We are seeking a Pharmacist for our Queens location to help in our mission of providing top notch pharmaceutical services to our Union members. Duties and Responsibilities:- Prepares and/or oversees the preparation and dispensing of medications to patients.
- Counsels patients and/or medical practitioners on drug indications, dosage, drug interactions and side effects; provides other drug and pharmaceutical information as appropriate.
- Provides guidance to pharmacy support staff and monitors performance.
- Follows established policies and procedures and safety, environmental and/or infection control standards.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Education and Experience: - BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D
- 1 - 2 years of work experience in retail pharmacy or ambulatory care pharmacy is a must
- New York State licensed pharmacist
- Must have immunization privilege in New York State
