Job Description

The Humboldt Co-operative is currently recruiting a Full-Time Petroleum Manager.

What you'll do:
  • Demonstrate day-to-day behaviors and actions that align with and strengthen the Co-operative's vision, mission, values, and brand.
  • Manage, oversee, and lead the strategy and overall day-to-day operations of the Bulk Petroleum department and cardlock operations.
  • Apply a broad-based level of operational knowledge, commodity direction and managerial skills to achieve established objectives in terms of brand, service levels, quality, and timeliness of delivery.
  • Oversee the completion and follow through of all safety and environmental regulations, policies, and procedures and ensure standards are achieved.
  • Prepare, administer, and achieve budgeted goals as it relates to the pricing, sales, margins, expenses, and inventory of the commodity.
  • Build strong customer relationships through an effective strategic marketing and networking strategy including an effective customer contact program.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Who you are:
  • Have a proficient understanding of petroleum, lubricant, and equipment products.
  • Have strong interpersonal, and communication skills with demonstrated ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
  • Possess a valid Class 3A Driver's License (Class 1 with air considered an asset).
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and team leadership skills
  • You are detail-oriented, have strong organizational skills; and you optimize work processes.
  • You are honest and trustworthy, as well as results oriented, effectively encouraging others and striving to be the best in what you do.
